So you are having some roommate issues.  It is fairly common to have some disagreements when you live with other people.  We encourage you to visit our Roommate Tips to learn about some easy ways to address whatever issues you are having.  Communication between roommates is the best way to overcome whatever problems you may be having.  Most of the concerns that students have about their roommates stem from miscommunication. 

However, if you have tried to communicate with your roommate and it just does not seem to be working, the Office of Residence Life is here to help you out.  Your Student Advisor is a great resource.  S/he can help you with developing a strategy to address the issue or they can even be involved in the conversation if you would like.  Please click on the link below if you would like someone from our staff (Student Advisor, Community Coordinator, or Hall Director) to contact you about resolving this issue.

We encourage all students to work through whatever roommate problems that they may be having.  We consider moving rooms to be an issue of last resort. However, if you are not happy in your living situation and would like to move, we will assist you in accommodating that as well.
