Staff Manager
Support Staff Manager (10 – 20 hrs/wk):
Supervise all hall desk operations and staffing. Supervise all Night Monitors in
their performance; make staffing schedules; train of new staff; etc. Be an
active part of the hall staff, and maintain office hours during the week.)
Job Description-
The Support Staff Manager Will:

oversee the day to day operations of the Hall Desk
and Night Monitor Station.

attend pertinent portion of all residence hall staff
meetings
|
| |

assist in the training of all new workers
|
| |

evaluate all current workers
|
| |
-
track all hours with the assistance of the Hall
Office Assistant
|
| |
-
meet weekly with the Community Coordinator
|
| |
-
put in eight office hours a week in hall office or
at secondary desk in Hall Desk
|
| |
-
ensure that the hall desk/night monitor station is
open at ALL scheduled times or staff it in the
absence of a qualified staff member
|
| |
-
assist the hiring of both the desk and night
monitors
|
| |

routinely
check the daily communication logs
|
| |
-
update hall desk/night monitor communication log
daily or as needed
|
| |
-
meet as a group once monthly or as needed to discuss
operation and supervisory issues
|
| |
-
assist the CC and HD in training the new manager in
March/April and provide them with an updated
continuity binder
|
| |
|
