Are you looking for a leadership opportunity on campus? The Residence Life Office is looking for Student Advisors for the 2010 spring semester. These positions offer the opportunity to work with and mentor fellow students, create social and educational programming opportunitites, and build valuable skills that are transferable to a variety of career paths.

Applications are available online by following the links below and are due by 5:00PM on Monday, November 9, 2009. By that date, you must also have signed up for your interview time by calling the Residence Life office at x4227.

Important information about your application:

	You will need to contact the Residence Life office at x4227 by 5pm on November 9, 2009 to set up your interview time. You may also sign up for an interview time at one of the interest sessions listed below. If your file is not complete, you will not be considered for a Student Advisor position. We may not contact you to request missing materials. You can call our office or email to confirm that your file is complete. Please remember that no file is complete until after all references have been submitted. Interview confirmations will be sent out via e-mail on November 11. At that time, if you need to change your interview time, please contact the Residence Life office at x4227 to request a change.

Information Session Dates:

Applicants are encouraged to attend an information session to learn more about the positions. Candidates will have the opportunity to sign up for interview times at the information sessions. Sessions for those interested in the Student Advisor position will be held:

	Monday, October 26 - 8:00pm in the Missouri Hall Chariton Room Tuesday, October 27 - 8:00pm in the Missouri Hall Chariton Room

Information Regarding Interviews:

	Interviews will be held November 16 & 17. The location has yet to be determined. After you submit your application online, please call the Residence Life office to schedule an interview time. Each interview will last approximately 1 hour. Candidates will interview with two or three staff members. Candidates will be notified of their status on December 3 via e-mail.
