Ryle Cafeteria Renovation
Sodexho is currently exploring options to renovate the Ryle Hall Cafeteria. If completed, the cafeteria will be similar to Main Street Market in the Student Union. Ryle would consist of 4 "concepts" and a renovated dining area. Construction would occur during the summer of 2008 and students should not experience any service interruptions. It is expected that the cafeteria would be finished and ready to serve by the beginning of the Fall 2007 semester.
Additionally, Sodexho is adding a meal plan option made of $750 dining dollars (and no meal blocks). All other meal plan options will remain the same. Further, Ryle would accept meal blocks and dining dollars (as well as bonus bucks, cash, and credit card) with no black-out period.
It is expected that the Missouri Hall Cafeteria will be reopened for the Fall 2008 semester. Students would then have the option to dine at one of two traditional cafeterias (Centennial and Missouri), one of two "concept" style facilities (Ryle, Student Union), or purchase food from one of two Convenience Stores (West Campus Suites, Fair Apartments).
Below are proposed options for the Ryle Cafeteria renovation. Please note that all ideas and concepts are subject to change and what is listed on this website may not be reflected after the renovation is completed.
