Special Communities
Missouri Hall is home to two specialized learning communities. The Romance Languages house is a partial immersion community on 1 South. Residents in this community focus on language and culture in the French and Spanish speaking world. Missouri Hall staff collaborates with faculty from Modern Languages to offer this unique experience. For more information about the Romance Languages House, please contact Dr. Carol Marshall at 660-785-6012 or email her at carolmar@truman.edu.
Missouri Hall also houses two first-year communities on
second floor. These communities are filled with students who listed
Missouri Hall as their top preference and paid their housing deposit early.
Programs and events in these communities are specifically designed for
first-year students. The staff works very closely with the students in
these communities to assist in their development throughout the year.
