Dobson Hall Photo Tour

Check out the images of Dobson below

Here is a view of the courtyard - home to many wiffle ball games and tournaments - but, no baseballs or softballs please!!
This is engraved over all of the Dobson entrances.

Dobson Hall will now house one of the Convenience Stores on campus. The C-store will be open until Midnight for students to buy a snack or a meal at their convenience!
This is the laundry room. You can bring quarters or put money on your Student ID card and use that.  One load of wash and dry costs $1.25.
Each floor will have two computer stations on each floor. Residents will be able to use these computers whenever they need, with homework having first priority. Residents will even be able to print right to the hall desk!
Here is a view of the hall desk.  This is where residents can pick up packages, check-out vacuums, board games, some kitchen supplies, and other items.  ALL FREE with student ID!!
Each floor has two lounges, one located at each corner of the floor. Lounges all have tables, chairs, couches, and a wall-mounted TV!
Each floor has a kitchen for residents to use. Each kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, sink, and ice machine.
This is a view of a smaller study space.  These rooms break off of the floor lounges and have a dry erase board for use.  These rooms can be reserved by groups of students or other organizations.
Each room in Dobson will have control of the temperature. Wall thermostats are located in each room for residents to set their desired temperature.
Each room will be equipped with a towel rack mounted on the wall and a 3 drawer cabinet.
This is a view of the furniture that all students are given.  The bed will be lofted when you arrive with the desk underneath.  The bed can be lowered closer to the floor.  To adjust the bedding, bring a crescent wrench (or socket wrench set).  These may be available on move in day, but will be popular items and may be hard to get!
Here is another view of the furniture.  The 3 drawer pedestal unit is not attached to the desk and can be moved.  The shelves on the back of the desk can also be taken off and used elsewhere in the room if desired.  The furniture is fully adjustable to accommodate the best setup for each room.  Please note:  if you do not use some pieces of furniture, you will be responsible to store in the room - we do not have storage space for your unused pieces.
Located in the middle of each floor (2nd - 4th floor) and on the south end of first floor are trash and recycling rooms. Students will be able to do their part to "go green" by recycling paper, plastic, and newspaper.
Dobson is a community bath facility.  Men's bathrooms generally have 6 sinks, 2-3 urinals, 3 toilets, and 5 showers.  Women's bathrooms generally have 6 sinks, 4 toilets, and 5 showers.  Each bathroom is shared by approximately 30-35 students.  They are locked facilities.  The residents of a house are issued keys to the bathrooms in their house.  The bathrooms are cleaned daily by Dobson's Professional Facilities Staff.
Here is a shower.  All of the showers are private and the curtains are provided.  Each restroom has 5 showers for the residents of the house.
